Sharon has over 25 years accounting experience with the majority in the insurance industry. Sharon is here to support the team at Future Insurance with a focus on accounting, data management, processes and systems. She is a licensed agent and obtained her NcIA (NetVu Certification in Insurance Accounting) designation in 2015. Sharon sits on the board of the Underground Railroad and supports many local charities.
Sharon relocated to Saginaw from the Detroit area in the year 2000 and enjoyed raising her family in this wonderful community. These days, Sharon’s happy place is with her husband Lee up north at their cabin (usually playing volleyball with friends and family).
Steve was born and raised in Millington where he attended Millington High School. After graduating, he joined the United States Navy for four years. Upon returning home, Steve attended Saginaw Valley State University and received his Bachelor degree majoring in Criminal Justice and Business Management, minoring in Public Administration.
Steve have been licensed in insurance for over 25 years focusing on commercial, farm and personal lines insurance. He obtained his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) license in 1997 and applies that knowledge in assisting his valued clientele with their insurance coverage.
Steve values his community involvement with non-profit organizations and his ability to give back. He enjoys the valued time he gets with his family traveling, kayaking, camping and simply enjoying life.
John was born and raised in Saginaw, where he attended Douglas MacArthur High School and was a recipient of the Civitan Award for community service. John went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree in Business from Ferris State University where he met his wife, Michelle. They have two grown sons, John and Beau.
John enjoys giving back to his community through his love of sports, volunteering by coaching basketball and baseball, in addition to sponsoring at risk youth. John is a representative for the Association of Builders and Contractors of Saginaw Valley and teaches workers compensation clinics for new contractors.
John has been licensed in insurance for greater than twenty years with expertise in commercial and personal lines while focusing on strong customer service values. In 2016 he earned his Certified Authority on Workers Compensation Designation (CAWC).
Kyle LaDouce has been with Future Insurance Agency since Fall of 2015. He grew up in a small town of Beaverton only to venture out to Grand Rapids to attend Grand Valley State University and earn his Bachelors in Marketing and Advertising. His family ties brought him to Saginaw to start his career as a Risk Manager. He specializes in auto, home, and commercial insurance.
Kyle enjoys being active and creative. He participates in numerous 5K events around Michigan and has completed a half marathon in the summer of 2017. He is also active in a few different recreational basketball leagues in Mid-Michigan. A member of the Freeland Sports Zone you can usually find him running laps around the track or shooting hoops down on the courts. Kyle also likes to paint, take pictures/videos, and draw.
Kyle lives by the motto “Don’t Worry, Be Happy,” and is sure to always put a smile on your face!
Emma Rogers is an Account Manager that assists Risk Managers with both their personal lines and commercial lines clients.
Interestingly enough, this is her first (and planning to be last) career. Emma started working in the insurance industry at age 16, working after school at an agency as a telemarketer. Upon turning 18, Emma went on to obtain her property and casualty, life accident and health licenses in 2014. She joined Future Insurance Agency in 2016 and is currently working toward her CISR designation.
Emma, a lifetime resident Bay County, enjoys participating in all of the community events Bay City hosts. Her favorites are the Bay City Fireworks Festival and the Downtown Bay City Wine Walk. When she’s not at social outings, you can find Emma spending time with her rescued dog Lily. She is also a die-hard Detroit Tigers fan and enjoys going to games whenever possible.
Her motto? “Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.”
Jan is a Risk Manager at Future Insurance. She became licensed in 2005 and earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2011. She focuses on helping you with your health and life insurance needs, but can also look at your home, autos, toys or business insurance!
Jan has an engineering and business mix for a degree from Michigan State University. After graduating, she became a PGA Class A Golf Professional. Jan worked as a golf pro for 16 years at Boyne Mountain Resort.
Jan is currently an ambassador with the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. She has been a part of the Ambassador “All Star” team in 2016 & 2017. She has volunteered for the Special Olympics, and was a board member at a homeless shelter in Gaylord, before returning to live in her hometown of Bay City, in 2012.
In the summer, Jan enjoys time on the boat or riding motorcycle. In the winter, she can be found snowmobiling or skiing. She has two Miniature Schnauzers welcoming her home every day, Cruiser and Harley.
John is a lifelong Saginaw resident who attended St. Stephen’s Elementary and High School and received his college education at Michigan State University. John obtained his insurance license in 2000 and specializes in business, home and auto, and life and health insurance. In 2014, John earned his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation which signifies his expertise in risk management. John is a former past president of the Tri County Independent Insurance Agents Association, a local branch of the Michigan Association of Independent Agents. John served as a member of Fremont Insurance Company’s Agency Council and is currently serving on Safeco’s Michigan Advisory Council.
Kim is a lifelong resident of Saginaw, residing in Thomas Township the last 46 years. She started her insurance career in the family business, VanAuken-Graebner-Mason, Inc. in 1975 and has been a licensed insurance agent ever since. In 1995, Kim, along with her brother, Jay Graebner, and partners Tom and Kerrie Blackney, purchased their family’s agency. At that time, the agency name was changed to Area Independent Underwriters, Inc. and continued the location in Old Town Saginaw. Kim’s family agency is the oldest independent agency in Saginaw, being established in 1856.
On June 1, 2004, Area Independent Underwriters became part of Future Insurance Agency and Kim continues her insurance career there. When not in the office, Kim enjoys her time on the shore of Lake Huron with family.
Dawn’s passion for helping people is what drives her, and the reason why she earned an M.A. in Professional Counseling after completing her B.S. in English at Central Michigan University. This same eagerness for helping is what sparked her career change to the insurance industry; Dawn became a licensed agent in 2016. Prior to her career as an agent, Dawn worked as an insurance restoration specialist for 8 years where she assisted businesses with disaster response planning and recovering from property damage.
Dawn is a lifetime resident of Saginaw and her heart for the community is reflected through investment in volunteering and participation in local organizations. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees at HealthSource of Saginaw and the Board of Directors for Women in Leadership Great Lakes Bay Region. She is an active member of the Saginaw Chamber of Commerce, Conscious Capitalism Great Lakes Bay Region Chapter and the Professional Alliance of Senior Services. In 2019, Dawn received the YWCA Women of Achievement Award for Community Leadership.
At home Dawn is surrounded by boys – she lives with her husband, Kevin, and youngest son Garett, she also has two grown sons, Gabe and Tyler; she loves being surrounded by the men in her life and all of the joy and laughter they bring. Despite being allergic to dogs, Dawn has two fur babies Max and Luna. She spends her free time on the back of a Harley, camping and bonding with her girlfriends.
Beth is the Commercial Account Manager who works with our Risk Managers to place and service our commercial lines customers.
Beth believes insurance is an essential part of any business financial portfolio. She works diligently along with our Risk Managers to make sure that our customers have the coverage they need should disaster strike. Beth believes being there at our customer’s time of need is the most important part of her job.
She was licensed in 1998, earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2014 and her Certified Authority on Workers’ Compensation (CAWC) designation in 2016.
Beth is an active member in her church community. She also enjoys going to Lions, Tigers and U of M games with her husband, 3 sons and grandchildren. She loves amusement parks and traveling. Her most favorite activity is spending time with her granddaughter and grandson and of course her kitty, Miss Allie!
Brittani is the Personal Lines Account Manager that works with our Risk Managers in our personal lines department.
Brittani was born and raised in Saginaw and has been with Future Insurance since 2007. She received her insurance license in personal lines in 2013 and her life and health license in 2016. Brittani also earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 2016. She enjoys helping our clients understand their policies and is committed to providing exceptional customer service to all of our clients.
In her free time Brittani enjoys photography and spending time with her family up north at her family’s cabin in Roscommon. She enjoys boating on Higgins Lake and spending time in the water with her family and friends.
Matt Squires is a Health and Benefit Administrator licensed as a resident producer in the State of Michigan since 2015. His primary focus is on selling and servicing life and health insurance policies. He came to Future already having several years’ experience administering health benefits for clients, as a human resource specialist for a few different businesses in the area.
Matt has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing from Lake Superior State University.
Matt grew up in northern Michigan, before getting married and moving to the tri-cities. He currently lives in Auburn, with his wife and young children. He is an active member of St. Gabriel Parish, and his children attend Auburn Area Catholic School.
Nicole is a customer service representative who works in the Commercial Lines Department. Nicole has worked at Future Insurance for the past eight years. She earned her Property and Casualty Insurance license in 2015. She is a detail-oriented person and strives to provide the best customer service.
After graduating from Merrill she went on to attend Delta College where she earned her associate’s degree in Business Administration in 2009.
Nicole is a Wheeler resident where she enjoys the peace and quiet of the country life and wouldn’t have it any other way. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, going trail riding, and going up north on the Harley. Most of all she enjoys spending time at home with her kids. Her dog Rocket and her two cats Zoey and Ginger. Yes, that’s right - her kids have four paws!
Heidi has been licensed in Property and Casualty insurance for 8 years and Life and Health for 4 years. She has earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation through The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.
In her spare time, Heidi and her family enjoy traveling as well as camping with their dogs. In July 2018, Heidi and her daughter Marissa had the pleasure of going on a mission trip with 25 other individuals to Porto Alegre, Brazil.
Holly is from the Great Lakes Bay Region and joined Future Insurance Agency April 2017. She offers professional administrative support to our clients and staff. Her positive energy and contagious smile play an integral role in handling administrative tasks required to meet the demands of our clientele. Holly ensures quality and service will exceed customer expectations as she strives to build trust, and strong long-term relationships with our clients.
Holly likes to keep busy! In the winter she spends much time cooking up a storm, or doing one of her many revamping projects. She enjoys traveling; exploring new places & things. As soon as the weather breaks she’s anxious to work in the yard, ready to hop on the Harley & ride or get out for a round of golf with her husband.
Elisabeth is an account manager in the personal lines department at Future Insurance. She has worked for the agency since December of 2012. She strives to provide the best customer service and to build a personable relationship with her customers.
Elisabeth grew up in Bridgeport and graduated from Bridgeport Baptist Academy. She then attended Crown College in Powell, TN where she received her associate’s degree in Office Administration. Elisabeth earned her Property and Casualty Insurance license in August of 2014. She has also continued her education in insurance and achieved her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in May of 2020.
Elisabeth lives in Bridgeport with her husband, Joe and their kitty, Pepe’. When she is not working Elisabeth enjoys being a part of her Frankenmuth Bible Church family. She also enjoys reading suspense novels, spending time with her nieces and nephews, and watching action movies.
Jodi is a customer service representative in our Bay City office. She has worked in the insurance industry since 2012 and acquired her property and casualty license in 2014 and joined Future Insurance in 2019. She is working on getting her life and health license. She also has an associate’s degree in accounting.
Jodi was raised in Reese where she attended grade school all the way through high school. Jodi is married and has 3 girls and 1 grandson. She enjoys spending time with her family and in the summer they love to camp.
Denise is a part of our Customer Service team in our Personal Lines Department where she assists our risk managers in providing service for our customers. She received her Life & Health license in 2011 and her Property & Causality licenses in 2013. She earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation (CISR) in 2017.
Denise is originally from Saginaw. She moved to Texas for a few years where she worked as a real estate appraiser and raised her children before moving back home. It is way too hot in Houston.
When not at the office, Denise is enjoying her hobbies: photography, bicycling, kayaking, camping and other adventures. She also enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She has participated in the Alzheimer’s walk, volunteered with Special Olympics and has ridden in the Great Lakes Bavarian Cycling Breakaway benefiting MS.
Kristina is a Customer Service Representative in the Personal Lines department of Future Insurance. She earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation through The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.
Kristina has worked in the insurance industry helping clients with their insurance needs since 2003, and joined Future Insurance in 2016. Knowing she’s assisting clients in protecting what they’ve worked hard for is the best part of her job. She feels helping the clients understand what insurance they have is also very important.
In her spare time, Kristina enjoys spending time with her family up north, working in her yard at home, watching and attending hockey & baseball games (Go Red Wings & Tigers!), and enjoying a good book.

Connie is the Life Account Manager for Future Insurance. Her expertise has always been in the Life, Annuity and Health Dept. She has been in the insurance industry since she graduated from Northeastern School of Commerce in 1962. Connie has always maintained that SERVICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS was and always will be the top priority in this business.
Connie and her late husband Harry owned and operated their own insurance business, Putnam Insurance Agency in Old Town Saginaw for over 50 years. In 1999, they helped found Future Insurance Agency.
Connie and Harry enjoyed many conventions that took them around the world. Now she keeps active with working part time, enjoying her black teacup poodle Sophie, painting on canvas, gardening, volunteering at Healthsource and baking goodies for the office.
Shawn Rigg is our Accounting Assistant and is responsible for retaining records of the financial affairs of our offices. Shawn attended Delta College to acquire a certification in Medical Reception while raising her two children. Prior to her work at Future Insurance, Shawn dedicated 10 years to the banking industry.
Shawn is a Freeland resident who spends most of her free time with her youngest daughter Lainey and her fiancé Tim, along with their dogs and cat. She tends to stay busy outside of work between going on trips to the casino, doing home improvements, going to concerts and helping her daughter prepare for college. Shawn is hoping to travel in the years to come.

Betty is the Customer Service Representative working in the reception area at our State Street Office. Betty is the first person at the office to greet you with a smile and ensure you are pointed in the right direction for your insurance needs.
Betty attended Delta College in the field of Banking. Prior to joining Future Insurance Agency in 2010, Betty worked in the banking industry for 35+ years.
Betty spends her spare time accompanying her husband to her three granddaughters’ extracurricular activities. Betty also is part of the Local Boxing Committee for Michigan and is also on the Board for the East Michigan Golden Gloves. Betty and her husband love to travel, especially to the Mackinaw City area.
